Dynafit P49 BINDING

The DYNAFIT Pintech binding P49 was developed for ambitious ski mountainaineering racers who are looking to get up the mountain with the most minimalist weight of 49 grams but also with maximum performance – and want to ski down. In developing the P49, our engineers put aside all conventional wisdoms and interpreted functionality between boot and binding totally anew. The result is our PINTECH System, consisting of the P49 Binding and the DNA PINTECH ski touring boot. Thanks to the perfect interplay between the P49’s “guided notch entry” and the dynamic “ejector pins” in the boot, entry into the binding is child’s play. The binding is released with one simple, quick hand motion, leaving the ski directly in the athlete’s hand. The P49 thus enables the quickest transitions on the market today from uphill to downhill! The lateral and vertical releases are both set to fixed values that were determined by our athletes over the course of several years as the best balance between safety and stability. The P49 is only compatible with the DYNAFIT DNA PINTECH Boot by Pierre Gignoux.
