Vaude Batura light thermal hooded jacket men’s kabát

Men's exceptionally lightweight insulated jacket with hood for mountain sports

• very warm
• can be stored in its inner pocket
• offset for climate neutrality; made from a completely recycled material

Whether it's a windy peak, a shady spot or base camp – this exceptionally lightweight insulated jacket packs down small and is indispensable for mountain sports. Don't be surprised if it becomes your favorite jacket! The innovative fill of the Batura Hooded Insulation Jacket makes a quantum leap in insulation technology. The puffy fill has the same properties as down – lightweight paired with great heat retention – but is made entirely from a recycled material. This synthetic down has the advantage that it keeps you warm even when wet and is relatively easy care. Insulating spheres of fiber were sewn into chambers, as is customary with down, in order to achieve the best warmth results. The jacket can be packed into the stretchy mesh inner pocket to take up even less room in your pack on the way up the mountain. The form-fitting style fits perfectly under a hardshell and the adjustable waistband will help make sure you don't become chilled once you reach your destination. This water repellent winter jacket with a high-set hood is made of a completely recycled material, is bluesign®-certified to the highest environmental standard and is versatile throughout the winter. The VAUDE Green Shape label stands for environmentally-friendly, functional products made from sustainable materials.

Recycled Polyamide – functional polyamide from resource-efficient production.

Recycled polyamide obtained from used items such as fishing nets or carpets. Rather than disposing of surplus materials or residuals from textile production, we collect, process and reuse them in our production facilities. Valuable resources are put to maximal use so we need as little new raw materials as possible, protecting our climate and saving CO2.

• resource-efficient production from residual materials
• maximum utilization of valuable raw resources
• contributes to CO2 reduction and climate protection

Eco Finish – environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish

This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.

• environmentally friendly water repellency and stain resistance
• optimal protection from rain and moisture
• no use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFC)

HeatSphere Eco Insulation – warm insulation made from recycled PET bottles

As warm as down: Heatsphere Eco Insulation consists of heat-trapping spheres made from 100% recycled PET bottles and has the same properties as down fill. It is lightweight, very elastic, warmer than any padded fill and retains its insulation properties even when wet without clumping so you can save resources and do the environment a favor at the same time.

• easy-care fill made from recycled PET bottles
• insulates even when damp without clumping
• climate-friendly thanks to resource-conserving manufacturing
